How often should I get my boiler serviced

Just had our second boiler fitted by MCS, and I must say that the standard of workmanship was second to none. The engineer sorted all the old pipework, and spent three days installing and checking that all was working efficiently.

Just had a full boiler and heating upgrade completed by MCS.
The work included changing from a back boiler to a complete new system with new efficient boiler fitted in the airing cupboard, new radiators throughout and new shower.
The 2 fitters were very professional, prompt, clean and trustworthy. The work was completed in just 4 days and we had hot water throughout apart from the switch over. Fantastic job. Highly recommend

I rang MCS for assistance after experiencing a water leak through my kitchen ceiling. Rob arrived later the same day and he was an absolute superstar! Within half an hour he had found a leak in my cold water pipe, fixed it and I was able to turn my water and heating back on. The office staff who dealt with my call and payment were also very friendly and efficient. I was extremely impressed with the service I received from this company and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service from start to finish.
Harry came to quote up, and explained things to us. He then did the groundwork for the oil tank, keeping us informed at every stage. An unfortunate delay from their supplier meant putting the actual install back a week, but MCS kept is fully informed at every single stage about what was happening. The Brilliant Tim did the actual install of the boiler. Again, keeping us informed at every single stage about what he was doing. 100% would recommend.

One of the MCS central heating engineers, has just left after spending the last three days here fitting a new boiler and doing a fairly extensive overhaul of my heating system.

What a star he is. Really friendly, turned up bang on time and worked his **** off, and kept me informed all the way through, but without bombarding me with useless or overly technical information. Can't praise him highly enough.

We had a hole in a pipe under the bathtub, I Facebook messaged at 10pm, fixed and back to normal by 8.30am the next morning, rapid response and a knowledgable fix for the problem we had. Thank you!

MCS attended out of hours to my mothers home when her pipework froze last night, I cannot thank them enough for the time he spent repairing the leak and helping us clear up the damage. The office acted professionally and called me this morning to check if we required any further assistance. Truly great customer service. Thank you.

This company have been amazing at a very difficult time for everyone. Had no hot water, came out and found that we need a new boiler! ( We have thought that for a while, and put it off!) After phone call sorting finance out, due to social distancing, boiler is being fitter tomorrow, with even the fitter offering to work the weekend! Couldn't thank them enough.

Excellent service and very polite and personable engineers

MCS reacted immediately to our request for a boiler service. Harry arrived on time and considering the weather, in good spirits. Ours is an outside oil Worcester Bosch boiler and Harry took it to bits and reassembled it, cleaning everything and replacing damaged hoses. The job took over an hour and I watched him do it. He worked quickly and with obvious expertise. Would highly recommend MCS. We shall definitely use them next year!

Great service again from MCS . Nicola who took my call about us having no hot water or heating, and the boiler displaying low pressure talked me through getting the pressure back up ,and thus no engineer needed to come out to us .A true honest company that doesn't rip you off ! Such a refreshing experience !

My wife dealt with MCS Heating and she has written this review. MCS Heating has exceeded our expectations with regards to service efficiency, professionalism and value for money. I rang the emergency number on a Saturday morning (I have boiler cover with them), an engineer came out after lunch to check our boiler, then on Monday and Tuesday an engineer called Richard came out (all day on both days) to install our new boiler, check all the pipe work, repair leaks and flush the system, etc. This was very thorough and the quality of the work was to very high standards. The customer service is brilliant at this company and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. A huge thank you to Richard, who treated my home with respect and went that extra mile to provide exceptional customer service. Thanks MCS Heating.

Heating. Plumbing installation and repairs central heating etc... also a maintenance scheme lot cheaper than British gas. Same day call out. Exceptional staff friendly reliable.

We were very happy with how the project was managed from start to finish; it involved the installation of five new boilers, associated plumbing and removal of the old ones. We had a detailed description of what was proposed and a breakdown of costs, specifying what sums of money were due and when. We have knew the company from previous works here and have found MCS easy to deal with and trustworthy. All the work has been carried out as proposed and on schedule, we never had to chase them up. In short, we are very happy with the result and quality of work and are happy to recommend this firm.

This company have never let me down and have always fixed the problem same day. Even in the snow still managed to sort it. I have recommended in the past and will continue to do so.

I visited the MCS office late Friday afternoon and they sent someone to assess and estimate cost of job (replacing and installing a combi boiler) on Monday. Their engineer was round early Wednesday morning and the boiler was up and running that afternoon the engineer was friendly and professional Very impressed with the work done would recommend them and the engineer to friends

Fixed our boiler when told by another reputable company that it was broken beyond repair! (And didn't cost the earth too)

Had a fault at a tenanted property and MCS had engineer out the next day. Fixed and sorted, can't fault their service.

Rang mcs because my boiler broke down, they came the same day and fixed the problem. My friend recommended me to them and got £30 and I got a free carbon monoxide alarm.
