Your heating system is an integral part of your home which can sometimes be overlooked as time passes.

Heating system debris is the #1 cause of heating breakdowns in the UK, and there's lots that can be done to prevent it.

Testing - We can test the water in your central heating system using our mobile testing facility. This gives information about the amount of inhibitor present, corrosion and PH (Acidity or Alkalinity) of your system water.

Filtration - MCS install the latest in heating filtration technology. We have a range of options depending on the system type and size.

Flushing - Whether you need an aggressive power flush to get a large amount of debris out of your heating system, or a more gentle clean of an older system we have options for any scenario. We first use chemicals to loosen any deposits which can be left in the system whilst you are using it over a period of 1-2 days, we then visit to flush deposits out and manually agitate deposits from radiators.

Chemical treatment - The most important part of system maintenance is looking after the water once it is clean. In standard heating systems this means topping up inhibitor levels and antifreeze if required. More recently low temperature systems such as underfloor heating and air source heat pumps require biocide to be added periodically to prevent bacterial growth. We have a selection of chemical treatment plans for all settings.
